My Journey with Beachbody...

Because I've worked out since I was 14, it wasn't a huge suprise when I was fascinated the first time I saw the P90X commercial on the television. I watched it a few times. Each time I became more mezmorized with the moves and the theory. I ordered P90X when it first came out. My friends thought I was crazy. I just loved what it did to my body.

Then a friend of mine in the gym became an instructor for TurboJam. Now I was doing TurboJam on top of P90X. Ashley, my instructor, was a Beachbody coach, along with one of the gym owners. They kept asking me to join their team. For the first few months I said "no, I don't want to do that". They kept saying, "Why not? You're a walking ad for P90X!"

Then one day I saw one of their paychecks for working out and just talking about Beachbody. I said, "I'm in!"

Now pay is nice...but with Beachbody you have to believe in the programs and the lifestyle. It's not all about the money...it's about health and fitness and the race to cure obesity and diabetes.

Team Beachbody's members are about the nicest people on the planet. They are here to help everyone, regardless of the situation. Sure there are lots of disappointing times where your best friend buys a different program then wants your help. But there are so many upbeat times that outweight the negatives.

I am recently involved in a wonderful group of Beachbody Team members who want to be the over-acheivers. My accountability partner and I started an online challenge for a group of people on Facebook that want to live a healthy lifestyle. 59 people joined. As a result thus far, hundreds of pounds have been removed from the bellies of those 59 Americans. Personally, I know none of them. They are all cyberfriends.

Can you imagine what this first meeting is going to be like? What a thrill it is going to be meeting my new "and improved" friends.

Bottom line - Beachbody rocks. There's no other company that treats it's reps like Beachbody does, and no other company who has teams of people all over this great nation that love everything about thier job...even the disappointing times are a reminder to buckle up baby, we're in this for the entire ride.
