Ginger Carrot Smoothie

Great for on-the-go. Easy to prepare and clean up (We all love that!). The ginger and nutmeg will make your tummy say "thank you!"


Serves 1
INGREDIENTS:
1 large carrot peeled and chopped
1 apple peeled and chopped
1/2" chunk ginger peeled/grated
Juice of 1 orange
1T Raw organic local honey
1/4t cinnamon
1/4t nutmeg
1/2c water (filtered, spring or mineral)
1/4c ice

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and foamy.

TIP! Want extra health benefits? Add a teaspoon of ground tumeric. Tumeric contains "curcumin", which has many beneficial health benefits, including being an anti-inflamoatory and fighting cancer cells.
